Jerry Guarino is an author and screenwriter. His critically acclaimed stories have been published in literary magazines in the United States, Canada, Australia and Great Britain. His latest collection is Cafe Stories: west coast stories. He has written one novel, The Da Vinci Diamond. He has written four short screenplays: The Tightrope, Who Stole Asbury Park?, The Grand Poobah and The Sonoma Murder Mystery which are based on his short stories. He has written two comedy pilots. He has taught creative writing and been an editor for Flash Fiction Magazine.

He lives with his wife Nancy in Gig Harbor, Washington.  The children, Sarah, Mike and David are all happily out on their own creating great lives and grandchildren.
